Booking & Cancellation Policy

In order to secure your booking, you will be asked to pay a 50% non-refundable booking fee by bank transfer. You are able to reschedule this appointment once, as long as you have given sufficient notice to do so. I kindly ask that you give 72 hours' notice or more to reschedule your appointment as unfortunately, it can be hard to fill last minute slots at such short notice, and can cause negative financial impact on a small business like mine.

You will receive your automated appointment reminder from my booking system (FRESHA) 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you cancel within 48 hrs of your appointment, your booking fee will not be refunded or transferred to a new appointment.

If you do not attend your booked appointment, you are uncontactable upon my arrival or if you cancel on the same day as your appointment, your booking fee will be retained and you will be charged for the remaining 50% of the full service price.

 

Upon arrival at your property if it is not safe for me to carry out your chosen service, I reserve the right to refuse the appointment and leave your property immediately. Your booking fee will be retained and you will be charged for the remaining 50% of the full service price.

Examples include (but are not limited to):​​

  • Sickness within the household (sickness policy applies)

  • An unsafe or unsuitable working environment

  • Aggression, violence or intimidation from anyone within the household will not be tolerated

  • The client is under 16 years of age (colour clients must be at least 16 years of age)

  • If an adult is not present at the property

Sickness

​If you or anyone within your household has a contagious skin condition, illness or infection (inclusive of but not limited to flu, covid, severe chest infections, hand-foot and mouth disease, vomiting and diarrhoea bugs, shingles, measles or mumps etc) please reschedule your appointment when you and your household are well. Viruses and bacteria have the capacity to be airborne and can live on surfaces in your home that I will be entering in to and potentially be touching. It is likely that I will be spending a long time in close proximity to you and your family.

 

Please notify me of any illness sickness or contagious condition as soon as possible prior to your appointment so that we may discuss this. If you have notified me of the illness, condition or infection 72 hrs or more ahead of your appointment, then you are able to reschedule your appointment once you are well and no longer contagious.

 

If you have notified me of the illness, sickness or contagious condition/infection within the cancellation policy period (48 hrs or less) I reserve the right to refuse to carry out your service and your booking fee will not be refunded or transferred to a new appointment,

 

If you notify me of the illness, condition or infection on the same day of your appointment, you advise me upon arrival at your property, or it becomes clear that during your appointment you or your family member is ill, sick or contagious, I reserve the right to refuse to continue to carry out your service and leave your property immediately. Your booking fee will not be refunded or transferred to another appointment, and you will be charged for the remaining 50% of the full service price.

Hair Health Analysis Consultation

Testing

In the event that you have booked a colour or chemical service, have paid your booking fee and your patch test or strand test has resulted in an adverse reaction, I will not be able to carry out your chosen service, and you will need to refer to your medical practitioner regarding your next steps relating to future chemical services. Your booking fee will not be refunded, however this can be transferred to an alternative non-chemical service equivalent to the same value.​

You will be sent a digital consultation form prior to your booked colour appointment via email (from my booking system FRESHA) within a reasonable timescale (if not upon booking your appointment, usually the week before, or the week of your appointment), which will require you to create a FRESHA account. On occasion, this may be completed during a face to face 'Hair Health Analysis Colour Consultation appointment'. You will need to read this document carefully and answer the questions honestly. The purpose of this form is to ascertain if it is safe to proceed with your chosen chemical service, to comply with manufacturers' instructions and for insurance purposes.

If the form is completed and signed by you within the cancellation fee period, and subsequently I am unable to carry out your appointment due to health and safety concerns after you have answered the questions, then the cancellation policy is applicable.

​

If you are unable to complete the form digitally by yourself ahead of the appointment, please make me aware so that I can assist you on the day of your appointment, as you are able to complete and sign on my electronic device. In the event that I am unable to carry out your appointment due to health and safety concerns after you have answered the questions, as this falls within the cancellation period, the cancellation policy is applicable.

In the event that you do not wish to complete and sign the form, unfortunately I will not be able to offer my services to you.

General

Please be mindful that when booking a specific service, you are agreeing to pay for your service in full. Should you change your mind about the service you require and choose a lower costing service, you will still be expected to pay the original agreed service price. I purchase the necessary products ahead of your appointment and reserve a certain amount of time in order to carry out your chosen service.

In the event that you wish to amend your booked service to achieve an outcome that is more technical, or may take more time or product, please be aware that I may not be able to accommodate this request without sufficient notice and you may still be charged in full for your original agreed appointment.

​

In the event that you are late getting started for your appointment or there are significant delays, please note that your appointment time may be cut short or you will be charged an additional fee to cover any additional time. It may not be possible to complete your service in full, however you will still be expected to pay the full agreed cost.

Payments

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

Exact cash.

Card machine (most major cards are accepted) a good internet connection is required (please have a backup payment method option in case of poor signal).

Online bank transfer.​​

All payments are to be settled before the end of each appointment.

 

*Cheveux Mobile Stylist reserves the right to request payment upfront for any services or products. These payments will be non refundable unless stated otherwise.

Privacy

I Stacey at 'Cheveux Mobile Stylist' will request the relevant personal data in order to book your required hair appointment in to my third party digital booking system (FRESHA) and/or via my online booking form (WIX) to carry out your requested hair service. This may include your full name, DOB, home address, mobile contact number and email address. In addition to this, I may request medical history relevant to chemical services chosen by you, my client. I will only use your data to carry out your chosen service and will not share this data with additional third parties unrelated to my business unless authorised by yourself or if the data is required by law. You may request for your data to be removed, however chemical records will be stored for six years as this is a legal requirement.
